Alejandra van der Velden is a professionally educated painter, creatively driven, who also decorates objects, and furniture as well. Her exposition in the New Place Art Gallery in june 2015 of figurative paintings shows us an artist who hasn’t yet met the boundaries of her artistic evolution.
The use of 3D techniques in her paintings has a surprising effect on the public who sometimes need other senses: touch, in order to fully experiencing the painting: true interaction. Her trademark is the harmonious use of powerful colours, even in her commissioned portraits. She is well inspired by the French impressionists.
She takes part in expositions troughout Europe. In december 2014 her work was part of the exposition The Illusion of Reality, galleria de Marchi, Bologna.
